When I spotted the ever gorgeous Kelly Osbourne’s fabulous heart tipped stiletto manicure at this years Grammy Awards, I was in LOVE!! And with it being the season of love, why not wear your heart on your nails this Valentine’s Day with my easy step-by-step guide to this super cute look!
Wipe over your nail bed with a little polish remover on a cotton pad, apply a base coat and let it dry.
Shape your nails with a light grit file in the one direction in to an oval shape or if you are braver a more pointed stiletto shape.
Grab a roll of Scotch Tape and cut 10 individual squares mirroring the size of your nails. When you have done that cut a 3 shape in to each piece this will be the stencil for the top of your heart shape.
Stick on your nail guides to the nails matching it up to either side of the nail and place half way down
Using a color of your choice maybe White like Kelly, a more traditional Red or Pink, or even a sexy statement Black or heavy glitter, paint in the sectioned off part of your nail and before the polish is totally dry remove your tape using a pair of tweezers to avoid any mess
Finish off with a top coat and do not move until totally dry!
Get Love-struck with your nails this Valentine’s Day, I did in Sexy Red I hope you Like….

Each Year Pantone, the purveyors of colour for our industry, forecast a colour that will mark the year…
Emerald Green is the Pantone of 2013 and its been popping up everywhere including heavily in Zac Posen’s S/S 2013 show for New York Fashion Week. It’s a fun, easily transferrable colour whether it is for Fashion, home or Beauty.
I have already been rocking out the trend in my salon over the last few weeks! Here are some examples of some seriously sophisticated Emerald Nails in lighter and darker shades for contrast.
Barry M Emerald Green
This is a light emerald shade with tons of metallic shimmer. It is soft and with a golden base so it can go with any skin-tone. Quick-drying and a steal at only £2.99
China Glaze Jolly Holly
Holly Jolly is a fantastically unique. It has a deep jewel tone shade that is seriously High Shine and High Impact. This is one of my favourites which I can’t wait to wear this season. A little more expensive at £6.95.
There are so many gorgeous nail trends coming this year and I cannot wait to bring them all to you first!
Goodbye January and Hello longer days and brighter skies, I hope!

Today our beautiful Nail guru on The Beauty Cloud has treated me to some gorgeous Bio Sculpture Gel Nails for my holidays!
She chose a lovely Nude colour not unlike the Chanel Le Vernis in Frenzy which she wrote about in her debut post here on The Beauty Cloud.
Have a look and let me know what you think! I LOVE THEM! They are so easy on the eyes and the gel is so light it feels like I have nothing on my nails. If you are anything like me, when I have any false tips or heavy product applied on my nails, it can feel totally alien and is like an open invitation to picking, but not with this product, you wouldn’t even know it was there.
If you haven’t tried the Bio Sculpture Gels yet, be sure to give them a go.
