I had the pleasure of working on the makeup team at a few of the shows at Milan Fashion Week this season and wanted to share some of the images with you. The collections and makeup were all totally different for each designer, but equally as beautiful.

I was wearing one of my long-time hero Benefit Cosmetics products today which I hadnt worn it a while. I dont know why I keep forgetting about it because everytime I wear it, I fall in love with it all over again. So I was going to use it in a MOTD post until I went onto the Benefit website to get the link and price for you when I realised that it has been discontinued! I’m finding out recently that lots of my favourite products are on their way out! I’m totally gutted. I’m extremely sad to see Rush Hour be discontinued. So I checked online and there are a few places have left over stock, which you know I will have to panic buy now!
It’s so disappointing when this happens to products you love! Has it happened to you with certain products? I’d love to hear the products you miss the most.
In the meantime, here is a little tribute shot of me wearing Rush Hour, you can totally see the sadness and disappointment on my face haha.

My Makeup of the Day is not for the faint-hearted. I was pretty disappointed in how the poor the photos were to be honest. What you can’t see is that the darkest parts of my brow is actually a dark purple glitter gel, so it sparkled when I moved. Anyhooooo, this isn’t my actual makeup I decided to wear today, more of a mess about this morning. I had wanted to try and get some matching Ombre lips done too but ran out of time in between clients.
My brows are a Pink to Purple Ombre and I seriously think I would consider rocking it on a regular day…. so get your sunglasses on Belfast as you may just see me out and about with some neon brows 🙂
To create this whole look I used two products:
Sleek Makeup i-Devine Eyeshadow Palette – Ultra Matte – £7.99
Illamasqua – Sealing Gel – £7.00

Oh I LOVE playing with new Palettes. This is the second of the two new palettes I bought from the Makeup Pro Store in Belfast. It is my Make-up Atelier Paris and is so versatile.
I woke feeling a little under the weather today so I’m feeling the need to smoke it out a bit. I didn’t sculpt my brows too much today as I am in and out of business meetings all day and don’t want to frighten anyone when up close and personal haha.
I actually used the Eyeshadow Palette to shade my brows a little so they are well matched. I just applied a bit of clear brow gel to my brows first and then used a thin angle brush to shade.
Here is my Make-up of the Day – As per usual, larger images are at the bottom.

Well today is my ‘Day-Off’ and I don’t have anything very exciting planned except heading out for lunch with my lovely hubbie and doing a bit of shopping for our Summer Holidays (Yippeeeee!)
So in terms of makeup I didn’t want to wear anything to heavy so I opted for a warm subtle smoky eye with some white pencil in the lower waterline to keep it light looking. I didn’t use any illuminators today as when I use the FOM Cosmetics Moisturiser and Hello Flawless Foundation together you get a lovely dewy finish to the skin.
So here you go, here is my makeup look for today. Larger Images and full product listing with links and prices are below.

I had the pleasure of flying over to work at London Fashion Week at the weekend. What can I say – IT ROCKS! The level of organisation and sheer beauty was phenomenal.
One of the shows I was working on was the Bernard Chandran AW14 Show. The designs were edgy, sexy and really packed a punch. They were mostly leather which just oozed sex appeal. The collection was designed with a masculine edge which delivers an element of power to these designs. AND THE BOOTS…. Do I need to mention those boots?! #Want #Need
I was there as part of Nora Nona’s Makeup Team! Boy is she a born leader and a pleasure to work with. She is a woman who knows exactly what she wants and she has a beautiful way of making it happen.
Across the different shows which I worked on, there was one common denominator. Nude on Nude on Nude! AW14 is all about the flawless nude skin, which also meant – NO MASCARA! I have to admit, I did have a mini heart attack at the thought of models going on the catwalk with no mascara. I am a big mascara fan, I think it really changes the whole look of your makeup when you add it in. But I have to say, the results were flawless. It takes a lot of time to create a nude makeup fit for catwalk and I admit that when it was done, I didn’t even miss or notice that the mascara wasn’t there. It was all about contouring and skin!
Another trend on the AW14 Catwalk was dewy skin and I don’t mean the odd bit of shine on the cheek bones. Light reflecting creams and facial oils were in full swing on the catwalks of London Fashion Week. I worked with Nicola Moore on the Tessa Edwards AW14 show as well and the idea was to almost make the skin look like plastic. It was glossy all over – Usually this is a big no no in terms of makeup, but on the Catwalks of London – It worked!
Tessa Edwards designs were a big contrast to those of Bernard Chandran, but stunning none the less. From pleats, metallic’s and monochrome the Tessa Edwards AW14 show captured the biggest trends this year but with a twist.
So if you want to know what the up-coming trend in terms of Makeup for AW14 – It’s Nude on Nude! But remember, its nude with a punch! Start practicing your contouring skills now!
